Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy provides information on how TechArt Society s.r.o., as the operator of the PraxisLab service (hereinafter referred to as the Controller), processes personal data of users of the web platform and related services (hereinafter referred to as the User) in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and related legal regulations.

By using the Platform and providing their data, the User confirms that they have read this policy and understand how their data is processed.

1. Data Controller

2. Scope of Processed Personal Data

The Controller may process personal data provided by the User when using the Platform, in particular:

  • identification data (name, possibly nickname)
  • contact data (email address)
  • information provided in forms and diagnostic tools
  • information about profession, skills, career goals or preferences
  • User's responses within analytical or evaluation tools
  • technical data about Platform usage (logs, cookies, analytics)
  • other data voluntarily provided by the User

Personal data may also be supplemented with internal analytical results, recommendations or aggregated metrics related to the User's profile.

3. Purposes of Personal Data Processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • providing diagnostic, analytical and support services of the Platform
  • preparing individual outputs, reports or recommendations
  • communication with the User regarding PraxisLab services
  • informing about changes, new features or relevant services
  • technical administration, operation and security of the Platform
  • improving and developing products and features
  • analytics and statistical evaluation of Platform usage trends
  • creating anonymized or aggregated data for internal purposes

Information sent to Users may be operational, informational or professional in nature; they do not constitute unsolicited commercial communications if they relate to the use of the Platform or its features.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Personal data is processed on the basis of:

  • performance of a contract between the User and the Controller (provision of service)
  • legitimate interest of the Controller, particularly in the functioning of the Platform, analysis of its features, security and development of services
  • User consent in cases where required
  • compliance with legal obligations as required by law

Legitimate interest includes, among others, technical administration, protection against misuse, processing of analytical data and improving user experience.

5. Data Retention Period

Personal data is retained:

  • for the duration of Platform use
  • and further for the period necessary to protect the Controller's rights
  • or for the period specified by legal regulations

The Controller may continue to retain anonymized and aggregated data that can no longer be linked to a specific person.

6. Data Transfer to Third Parties

Personal data may be processed through third parties (processors) who provide services to the Controller, such as:

  • hosting and cloud services
  • technical infrastructure and data storage
  • analytical, email or communication tools

Processors act only according to the Controller's instructions and based on appropriate contractual guarantees. Personal data is not provided to third parties for their own marketing and is not sold. Data will only be transferred to third parties without anonymization in cases required by legal regulations or with User consent.

7. User Rights

The User has the following rights in accordance with GDPR:

  • right of access to their data
  • right to rectification or completion
  • right to erasure (to the extent provided by legal regulations)
  • right to restriction of processing
  • right to object to processing
  • right to data portability
  • right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority

User requests will be processed without undue delay.

8. Personal Data Security

The Controller takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security, protection against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.

9. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated by the Controller at any time. The current version is always published on the Platform website and is effective from the date of publication.
